Dear Mr. Horton:

Thank you for your note of March 27. I would, indeed, appreciate your keeping me up to date on your efforts re. The apparent problem with the PA-23 fuel tanks.

Aviation Safety discussed the problem in detail in an "analysis" of the PA-23 in the 9/15/90 issue and followed up with reports on the NPRM and subsequent withdrawal of the proposal based on the pleas of certain aviation "representatives."

Thanks, again, for your help in keeping my eye on the problem.
