Image 32 40 ounces of water. The accumulated 40 ounces of water reached the edge of the Cessna 152 tank's sump drain.

From here, in the test, 2 ounce increments of water were added until the tank contained a total of 68 ounces of water, but images for the increments from 50 ounces to 60 ounces are not available. The following four images show the results of adding 62, 64, 66 and 68 ounces of water.

Image 40 The test concluded with the tank containing 5.5 gallons of fuel and 68 ounces of red colored water. In this image, the water level can be seen to have reached the height of the tank's sump drain, which is another indication that the tank's sump drain is not located at the tank's sump.
