Changes to FT172R-15 Revision B

REFERENCE:

Cessna Letter L417-02-00-192, dated 20 October 2000, Subject: Model 172R
Integral Tank Water Contamination Investigation Test Plan-Revision B

 

Dear Mr. Bleakney:

With the referenced letter, Cessna submitted FT172R-15 Rev. B, "FUEL SYSTEM CONTAMINATION
INVESTIGATION TEST PLAN-172R," dated 19 October 2000, which presented the latest version of the
test plan coordinated between Cessna and the FAA. Since that time, the FAA has requested four additional
changes, per the following:

 §

Add variation in pitch and bank angles to +Climb: Maximum Climb Power at Best-Angle-of Climb
Speed, Vx2 Condition b. - Turbulent Air, in section 6.

 §

Add alternating skidding turns to Condition c of Level Flight: Maximum Recommended Cruise Power in section 6.

 §

Add variation in pitch and bank angles to Level Flight: Maximum Endurance Cruise Power in
Condition b, section 6.

 §

Delete "go-around or" from Descent and Approach: Condition b in section 6.

These changes will be incorporated into Revision C of the document, which will be resubmitted as soon as
possible.
